Frances Davis DeLawder (1895-1975) -second wife of Nicholas Dozenberg, one of the first women to serve in active military service during World War I, Columbia University NYC graduate, Registered Nurse, pool secretary for Frances Perkins the first woman to be appointed to US cabinet as Secretary of Labor under Franklin D Roosevelt, life-long Presbyterian, mother of their only child

John Lurman Delawder (1898-1925) -Frances DeLawader's first husband, World War I Veteran, George Washington University graduate, Chemist, lifelong resident of Washington DC, died of tuberculosis after returning from France while he was still young and handsome

Rebecca Ruth (nee DeLawder) Herbert (1894-1989) -sister to John DeLawder, sister-in-law to Frances DeLawder, life long resident of Washington DC

William Gregory Valentine "Val" Burtan, or Valdimir Bertan (1989-1985) - Russian immigrant, "heart specialist" physician, communist, associate of Jay Lovestone, alleged back alley abortionist, arrested in NY, NY Jan. 1993 he was convicted in 1934 for his part in the counterfing scheme, handling some $100,000 in bills, served 11 years of 15 year sentance in Federal penitary and fined $5,000 which was later forgiven, associated with Nicholas Dozenberg to establish Romanian Film Corporation (a front for Soviet Military Intelligence operations,) named Vice President, implicated in passport fraud was assumed to have several aliases including E. Bail, Valentine Gregory Bourstin, Alfred Keen, George Keen, Carl Kuhn, George Smith, Frank Brill, William Gregorevitch Boutstin, Dr. Vladimir Bertan

Hans Daschan Von Buelow alias "Count VonBuelow" (1894-?) - also known as Enrique Dechon Von Buelow and Harry Dechow, German, WWI aviator, "adventurer of the world," married to Lottie Brenner a colorful wealthy Chicago widow in which their tumultulous relationship played out in the newspapers to spectators delight, arranged for underground Mafia contacts to handle counterfiet money which was later found out and reported to Treasury Department, testified for government prosecution in counterfieting scheme against Val Burtan, served only one hour in jail, other alias names included Enrique von Buelow Echenique, Henri Durchow, Heinzelman Durchow, Henri Dechom, Heinz Dechow

Alfred Tilton alias Joseph Paquett (1897-1942) - Latvian immigrant, Head of GRU (Soviet Military Intelligence USA) Russian Red Army Handler for US espoinage agents in 1920's

Lydia Techekaloff Stahl (1890-?)- Russian immigrant, Columbia College student (Master of Arts with special honors in Chinese), Doctor of Laws University of Paris, assissted in copying Royal Oak battleship plans in NYC 1928, arrested in December 1933 on charges of espionage, she was eventially convicted as one of the "ring leaders" of the group that involved an American couple and several other individuals of various international origins and stretched from Finland to Roumania and the United States, presumed to have disappeared at the behest of her Soviet handlers, fate unknown

Jay Lovestone (1897-1990) - Lithuanian immigrant, American Communist Party leader (1919-1929), expelled from the Party after opposing Stalin's Russian domination

Earl Bowder (1891 - 1973) - American Communist, CPUSA General Secretary (1934-1945), US citizen, convicted of passport fraud and later pardoned, Nicholas Dozenberg testified at his trial as government witness

Walter Krivitsky (1899 - 1941) - Russian Red Army General, author of "In Stalin's Secret Service" defected from Russia in 1936-37, assignated in Washington DC 1941, assassign still unknown

Olga E. Upeneek (1889 - 1987) - third wife of Nicholas Dozenberg, Latvian immigrant, died West Palm Beach, FL
